I agree 4/5. Original and every actor seemed to understand the neo-noir tone of the script….I would like to see a reboot if it was put into the right hands.
Every few years, I watch this again.Excellent movie-I don’t know why it isn’t more known.
And well worth the 4 stars, Nox! This little gem from the late 80s could easily be mistaken for a John Carpenter film. It has that noirish look and cult-classic vibe to it. From the seriocomic tone, deadpan humor from Kyle Maclachlan and hottie Claudia Christian, to the driving pulse-pounding soundtrack, this is one H-E-DOUBLE-TOOTHICKS thrill ride that doesn’t let up!
I hadnt seen this since I was a kid. I was surprised to see cooper. (twinpeaks) And the dog was definitely Jason (nightmare on elm street 4) The dog that pissed fire to bring Freddy back. What i didnt know was it was a sequel. On to that next.
