Basically it’s an Indiana Jones (1984) type film featuring Richard Chamberlain and a young Sharon Stone.

The first 30 minutes earns the low rating on IMDB, 4.6/10. The costumes, cinematography, dialogue and overuse of mood music are very 1980’s. Sharon Stone even donns leather pants in the jungle and must travel with a hairstylist.

However, things change after they set out to find the lost city, it’s pretty fun . . . in a cheesy way.

I’d give it 6/10, especially for the racist tropes, including a white guy playing the wide-eyed native guide, Swarma, which sounds alot like a popular Indian dish, Shawarma. James Earl Jones is fun as the jungle warrior. And, of course, the main rulers of the jungle city are lily white. LOL!

Definitely not a good movie, but kind of fun fair in the genre of lost city movies.
