Daniel Silver, a sullen and distraught middle-aged American man, visits Paris for the first time. After checking into the hotel room where he’ll be spending the night, Daniel’s state of mind begins to unravel. Soon, his search for personal closure in the city of lights takes an unexpected and traumatizing turn, forcing Daniel, and the audience, to be a helpless witness to Paris’ dark underground and Daniel’s own painful memories. Told through intimate images and haunting silences, We’ll Always Have Paris follows a man’s descent into a sea of grief in a city that may not allow him to re-emerge. |
