On the eve of World War I we meet Baptist, his girlfriend Mathilde and her brother Isidore not knowing that there are dark clouds hanging over their heads. And then unexpectedly the mobilization is announced and their lives fall apart. Baptist has to serve in the army, Isidore wants to become part of the resistance and Mathilde remains in Limburg trying to adapt to the new war situation. Follow these people in their struggle for live during a 4 year war. A war that will change their lives forever. |
