At the height of the devastating intergalactic war between humans and the bipedal reptilian humanoids known as Dracs, the earthling single-seat fighter pilot, Willis Davidge, and the saurian pilot, Jeriba Shigan, engage in a furious dogfight. @Robophone i couldn’t agree more with your comment, Enemy Mine is an absolute Fantastic Sci-fi that is very much character driven..Gosset Jr. and Quaid both nailed their respective roles and the ending of this movie is absolutely superb..so many edge of your seat moments and some very touching scenes between the characters. I can come back to this film and watch it anytime, no matter my mood. Putting this straight into my Faves…again..LOL

Enemy Mine is like Hell in the Pacific (1968) meets Robinson Crusoe On Mars (1964).
I love Dennis Quaid in all his roles and this is no exception. But Louis Gossett Jr. steals the show, despite the cosmetic appliances and difficulties mastering the reptilian Drac language.
