As we follow each character’s sometimes hysterical and sometimes heartbreaking attempts to sort out their lives we meet a German actress who lives with her husband, an on-and-off-lover and a man with a cleaning fetish, and who is obsessed with the idea of sleeping with David Tennant; a well-traveled English playwright who is stuck in Germany and who is contemplating casual sex with an Aussie bartender to see if it changes her attitude towards her husband, while directing a play nobody will want to watch. Both women share a sense of dissatisfaction. While one sets out to sleep with David Tennant to avoid having to deal with what is really bothering her, the other is sick and tired of having to look after the personal welfare of everybody in her life. Tired of always making the “right” decision, she contemplates which “wrong” choice might be the right one for her.
