Here’s how to get and use subs on PW—
Go to the show you want, then—
Click a ‘version’, then click ‘subtitles’.
Choose a sub, click ‘retrieve’, then click ‘download’.
Download to your PC.
Now, click ‘direct’ on a player that has a ‘cc’ button, click the cc button, pick and click ‘upload…’. Pick the sub file you just downloaded (the file name likely ends in .srt).
You’re good to go.
I hope all you people that complain about no english subs see this.
most of the films that are in two different languages, subs only cover one of the languages. so if this has a few German lines but most is in English the subs will only cover the english. Pardon me if it’s not the case in this film but I have seen it this way in others on here, and I tried ever sub avalible for that film. Just wanted to clarify what some of the requests are from, at least the way I understand reading them.
There is some German in the film, unfortunately non-subtitled, that are important for the following of the plot… didn’t get further, as it would ruin the understanding… please provide subs!!
I felt like I missed out on alot because of the German. Wish there had been subtitles.
Being a fan of historical dramas and also of Judi Dench I was looking forward to this one but once again the BAD script gremlins strike again. It felt like it was written by a twelve year old with ADHD. Combine this with a comical chase scene and under-developed characters and you have a wanna-be WW2 spy movie that lacks, yeah you guessed it, FOCUS.

Hmmm…the English subs worked fine for me. Maybe try getting subs again, with a different ‘version’ and host? (BTW—this one has both German trans. and English subs)
Thank you for the instructions, unfortunately I had the same problem as sonical and I tried many versions/hosts.
PW gets their subs from Opensubtitles. You can try getting the subs directly from there. I don’t know what else to suggest except maybe to try downloading the movie first and watching that way.
