Conservation starts in our own back yards with the small streams that run into our major waters way from urban suburbia. Their are dedicated people who are trying to make the difference with organizing local communities and school groups to re take ownership of their water ways and to help clean them up after years of neglect with all sorts of pollution placed into the streams. Co-coordinator Teremoana Jones tells a story of how community have banded together to make the difference. |
