The Tannery is a short film about a Tannery in the small town of Craig in Northwest Colorado, USA. Tanning dates back to 7000-3300 BC and is one of the worlds oldest trades. Greg and Carrie run a small workshop. The film uncovers a window on a hidden world and a cottage industry which survives due to the massive US hunting industry. Greg and Carrie regularly work an 18 hour day keeping the business afloat. They are hard working Americans with an abundance of character. |
