Liz and Bob are two teenagers that stroll the city. Both seek themselves in it. Art is their expression. Walls Upon Us is a free adaptation of the life and work of British couple of poets, Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Robert Browning, whose love began from exchanged letters and poems. Solitary, two observers strolling Sao Paulo. Bob, riding his skate; Liz, exploring an asleep city. They speak through urban interventions and fall in love before sight. This musical film brings about contemporary artists such as Contrafluxo (Hip Hop) and Mental Abstrato (Experimental Jazz) and music producers of Sao Paulo (Pesopenna and Daniel Ganjaman), as well as visual artists (Vokos and Jack Neto). The short film portrays a restless generation ‘that cultivates freedom in the concrete of the city.’
