I’m so tired follows a young teenage boy as he reflects on his current relationships. Narrated from his point of view in a series of diary entries, Taylor talks about how disconnected he feels. Biking, and spending time alone, Taylor tries to cope with the societal pressure to be in a relationship and is not sure how to deal with people misinterpreting his actions. I’m so tired constructs the world of a teenage that reflects the emotions he is feeling and deconstructs societal notions of sexuality and family. Shot on 16mm the image transitions from color when Taylor is alone, to black and white when he is with others to reflect his unhappiness with the situations he finds himself in.
