28 year-old writer, James McQueen, senses life passing him by. Sapped and demoralized from constant struggle and rejection, he takes a job at a publisher to prove himself to his family and save his relationship. Sensing a different route to achieving his ambitions, James instead becomes immersed in an alternately comic and brutal game of corporate cat and mouse.
