Chris returns to his family home in the highlands, under duress from his fiancee (Alena) who is eager to meet his father (John) before they marry. Chris barely utters a word to John, still blaming him for his mother’s death. With support from Alena, Chris eventually recognises his father’s pain, and the two men go fishing in an attempt to find some platform from which to resurrect their friendship. But is it too late? |
