Allen is your typical high school kid. He’s picked on, mocked and humiliated. As he tries to deal with the pressures and anxiety of being a teen - school, friends, family, etc., he retreats on a nighttime journey to find an escape and attempt to sort out his world. His day gets better when he runs into Rebecca, his longtime crush. Much to his surprise and delight, she begins to take an unexpected interest in him. Things continue to go his way, when he has the opportunity to defend her and stave off an assault. He believes he’ll be lauded as a hero but instead, his world begins to unravel.
