The Worms Will Feed is the first movement of Beyond the Primal Sludge, an experimental horror film series by Danny Hynds which seeks to give the viewer an uncomfortable and disturbing experience. Blending performance art, haunting sound design, and the absence of dialogue, The Worms Will Feed is a disconcerting journey into the captivity of an unknown woman at the hands of a masked individual. Initially meant as a standalone short film, this project has evolved into a series of works surrounding the central themes of identity loss and excess. In the coming year, 41 new scenes are being produced for the series, culminating in an interactive performance art event in fall 2015. |
