Picking up his training blade, an apprentice swordsman runs through a routine for the benefit of his watching master. Finishing, the apprentice turns to find his master sitting with his eyes closed. Irritated, he runs another routine, more determined. Still no response, prompting the apprentice to attack his master in frustration. The elder warrior grabs the sword inches from his face, and pushes his student back. Humbled, the boy nods, and returns to the beginning, calmly running his routines with a new air of confidence. |
