Details:

This film tells the story of Maui Nui Seabird Recovery Project’s efforts to protect the Hawaiian Petrel (‘Ua’u) and its habitat. As part of their Lana’i Native Species Recovery Project, the Maui and Lana’i based staff work to restore native habitat in the Lana’ihale watershed, trap predators and educate the public. The film was filmed and edited by two Maui students as part of Maui Huliau Foundation’s Huliau Independent Filmmakers program funded by the Maui County Office of Economic Development.
