The Seacrets is an eco-fantastic tale for our times, an independent feature fiction film which incorporates the true story of underwater coral research scientists. The film has a strong environmental gaze as perceived from the rarely observed world of Cuba. Mixing authentic events and circumstances - as a documentary film would do - The Seacrets is also intertwined with the fictional dramatic story of two battered-by-life women seeking a new start.
