The Sedin (Kubanol) plant was founded in 1911 in the city of Krasnodar (Yekaterinodar). The Sedin plant was the world’s largest manufacturer of lathes. But in 2014 the plant goes bankrupt, workers are not paid wages. The workers are fighting for their rights: they hold meetings, pickets, strikes. The workers saved the plant. Now this plant is called Southern Heavy Machine Tool Plant.
