I thought this was going to be like “ hide and seek or invitation“ not even close. I still cant figure out if Oliver “wanted” Felix or wanted to BE Felix.. I guess if he couldn’t have him he’d take what he could get? Sadly an an accurate , relatable, LGB portrayal . . EXCELLENT Rosamund Pike IS PERFECT!
Genius. I didn’t see that ending coming at all. Keoghan is fantastic in the lead role as are all the cast. I thoroughly enjoyed this. It was so well done. It reminded me a lot of the movie The Talented Mr Ripley w/the obsession facet being a huge component that compels characters. I have a few questions though like did Keoghan’s character kill the husband too or did I miss that? Wouldn’t forensics have done tests in the autopsies of the brother & sister? And also notice that Pike’s character’s tubes had been pulled out? He surely would not have walked away scott free w/a fortune like that without some scrutiny from police and any remaining relatives. Still an amazing film though. I loved that last dance sequence to the song ‘Murder On The Dance Floor’. Very clever.
Wow, what a riveting piece of cinema. Although this CAM can be a bit loud at the soundtrack, and muffled at the dialog, it truly draws the viewer in. This is not a drama. It’s a psychological thriller. Brilliant.
I don’t agree. It very much is a drama. What are psychological thrillers after all if not filled with plenty of drama? The drama is what makes psychological thrillers what they are, exciting, enthralling & intriguing which this was, very much so.
Interesting, but I disagree only because psychological thrillers have an edginess, where as straight up dramas do not. They are part and parcel, though not at all the same! Thanks for the comment! ♡´・ᴗ・`♡

This was not a comedy as indicated among the genres, it is a psycho-thriller as #ThinMan beautifully puts. And it is in excess of two hours although I never got bored of it. After a long vegetation where we witness the build-up of the characters, a short harvest at the end follows where I at last asked “wow, further?”. So multidimensional, intricately woven the characters (i.e. narcissist/door mat, drama triangles, …) are, it is impossible to look through a black and white singular perspective, even the most disgusting scenes become simultaneously appealing, funny, innocent… There are so many very, very symbolic scenes, I am sure it will be intensively and thoroughly analysed by others. Superbly provocative yet casually innocent, it allows you to view everything through the lenses of everyone involved concurrently highlighting the social dynamics and role-sharing at a higher level while illustrating dependencies between singular characters. Until the “harvest”, I had no idea it would be like this, so be patient with the flow, some comedy parts appear when people display some very British responses in their agonising denials of the ongoing culling.
I actually wasn’t all that impressed with it. It seemed like they were trying to make another Dangerous Liaisons and just tried a little too hard and missed the mark.

Ah, Great movie. Engaging, entertaining, intricate.
Carry on…and eat the rich.
Let them eat each other.
Fantastic film. All the actors were magnificent. What a web was woven.
