There’s a war going on. Maria receives information that her husband Jan was hospitalized. On the spot, it turns out that the man does not recognize her. The woman is not sure if Jan has actually lost his memory or is trying to avoid punishment for potential desertion by lying. The understatements and mutual secrets cause the night to mix with the day, not only for the heroes, but also for viewers who are not sure what is truth, and what is only the product of a mind or a dream traumatized by war. |
