Since it is a limited release, it may be a week before any appear.
I don’t mind waiting on them. This one really looks interesting.
Garth Ennis did a comic called A Walk Through Hell with similar themes I highly recommend while you wait.
Also sounds a bit like Mister Frost, cult classic with Jeff Goldblum.

I seen that YEARS ago. I forgot all about that movie. I will for sure watch it again though. Thank you!
I am checking that out for sure, ty.
I read someone’s review elsewhere saying this had a bit of the same vibe as “Law Abiding Citizen” - which also then reminded me of another demonic one, “The Devil’s Advocate.” Smooth, seductive evil that susses out weaknesses and inexorably worms its way in.
“Nefarious” somehow (well, due to that riveting acting!) manages to quickly ensnare you even though almost all of the movie is dialogue between just two characters. Sure, some scenes can drag a bit, but even THAT works, as we have to sit there and digest all the evil being thrown at the hapless doctor, and at us. One of the most difficult things in the world to deal with is having to re-assess all that you think you knew. That’s both humbling and more than a little unsettling.
I don’t see any Law Abiding Citizen similarities— but maybe “Fallen”.
Yes, “Fallen” for sure! That was unsettling.
For sure. Back when creepy flics were almost always good.
I don’t mind character studies, but I had a hard time getting through this one. It wasn’t the acting. It was a plot that didn’t need to be as long as it was. My opinion but I believe it fell short.
Wow! This is IMPECCABLE acting on the part of Mr. Flanery!
I really enjoyed this movie and the script was so good that it had me thinking! It kept my interest the entire time. His acting was so good he could fool anyone in real life! The plot actually made me see things from a different perspective on why a Demon (by the Biblical descriptions) would do what they do so ruthlessly.
5/5
Classically incorrect portrayal of atheist in Christian studio film.
Waited awhile for this one. Definitely a good watch. 5/5
