Over the course of a German East Frisian tea ceremony one Sunday evening in the family home, a widowed mother and her conflicted, gay daughter tread around hard, intimate truths that have endured unspoken in their family for a very long time. Belinda Giblin, one of Australiaโs most distinguished stage and screen actors, stars alongside award-winning actress Matilda Ridgway (Cannes Palme DโOr Nominee, The Guests) in a German-Australian, LGBT & female-centred narrative told by a mixed team, predominantly women, written by Charmaine Bingwa (Best Screenplay winner, LGBT Toronto Film Festival) & Meg Ryan. Cinematographer: Meg White (ACS Silver Award). Directorial debut by Matthew R. Young. |
