Michael is an out and out comedy about the character played by Mir who works as a senior executive in a fitness and sports goods firm but has aspirations of becoming a film maker. In his quest for pursuing his dreams he gets acquainted with Mayurbahan chatterjee played by Soumitra Chatterjee who happens to be a forgotten legend. How they go about chasing Michael’s dream is what is shown in the film. Michael is shown as married to Shinjini played by Swastika who runs a business of renting set props to the production houses. Throughout the film Michael gets to meet various women characters who all help him in his pursuit. He faces tremendous challenges and difficulties needless to say in this journey which result into hilarious situations each time. Arunima Ghosh plays an IPS officer, Tonusree plays the daughter of a rich man aspiring to become an actor, Sayani Dutta plays Mir’s assistant and confidante, Biswanath plays his right and man and DOP, Arijit Dutta plays a producer, Kanchan Mullick plays Mir’s landlord. Payel Mukherjee plays the landlord’s cousin. To know whether he can overcome the challenges successfully or not you would have to watch the film.
