The Colour (Short 2019) (2019)

The quill is scratching delicately over the worn paper. The ink is creating a letter, word after word, a letter for an old friend, who left a long time ago. Where he went, Ammi, an old farmer, doesn’t have the answer. He was taken from him through an unknown, never seen before force, which came from the distance of the universe and took the energy of everything in it’s way. With every sentence that forms itself on the paper, this force is brought back to life. It escapes from an old piece of a meteorite that Ammi kept in his home for so many years, and takes the shape of light and smoke. It confronts Ammi again with memories of the past, memories he has tried so hard to push far away. Filled with anger and grief, Ammi decides to put an end to all of this and fight the foreign force.
