A one hundred year tale of a small beach side rugby league club in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. This film plots the origin of the small village of Clovelly its surf club (one of the worlds oldest) and it’s relationship to the game of rugby league that emerged in the aftermath of the first world war. Using archival footage and photographs and interviews with ex players, coaches and club officials this film takes a journey through the decades showing Clovelly’s social ties to this unique game played by generations of youth in the area. |
