This is out now (Jul 7)—may be fun. It stars that weird guy in some of the Ricky Grevais shows like After Life, Derek, etc.

This could be quite funny

Very quirky pseudo doc about a depressed inventor who creates a robot. It starts off slow but once he activates the robot things start to happen as the robot learns about life & the world around him. The actor who plays Brian the inventor is quite oddball & his interactions with the robot he names Charles is awkward & humorous. He is awkward with everyone though. There’s definitely some funny parts as Charles starts to want some independance & gets defiant. It’s a quirky, oddball movie & ultimately heartwarming. The rest of the cast do well too. If you like unusual movies this definitely qualifies. I wouldn’t say this is for everyone since it starts out slow & there’s little action except for the end but if you enjoy quirky indie comedies you might very well enjoy this.
