This was not for me. I’m sure others will appreciate it, it does have decent movie qualities. Just was not what I was hoping to see.
Moon (movie) was more entertaining. Prospect (movie) is closer to this and so many times better. This was an obvious exercise of a movie not meant to be a blockbuster and personally idk why it was ever released. It just made me feel like it just barely earned the stamp of “movie” or “Film” or like this could have easily been a short 30 min or so if they cut out all the damn fat and fluff. This movie wasn’t technically bad but not entertaining in much any way to justify its existence. Skip this one. It’s borderline boring imo. This was like a paycheck for everyone, a movie credit. I bet for the directors and actors too, just a full “professional” film to make as an exercise before going on to star/shoot in real movies people should watch.
Well, that was certainly different.
If you think sci-fi has to be spaceship and lasergun battles, then this is not for you. This is more ambiguous post-apocalypse than anything else.
I’m not sure I’d recommend it to everyone, but it was at least refreshingly not another marvel movie.
this looks pretty interesting gonna give it a go
It’s a slow start, but at about 10 minutes in, I wanted to see how things played out. About an hour in, things slow down again, and I jumped ahead about 15 minutes. The ending is good.
Slow boring and dim. For something about survival and scifi it spend more time with feelings and drama than it do with moral or problem solving.
is it boring or ok?
Its not exactly boring i just didn’t like the direction it went..kinda fun though.
dumb and confusing..!!!…All of a sudden there is air on Mars..???…Where are they. and how and when did they get there..??..What Year is this..??..This movie leaves you in the dark, the entire 103 minutes, and makes little sense..!!!..A waste of time, and the ending was AWFUL..!!!!!!!!!!!
not to mention the -220 degrees on average
I got the impression from clues/hints thru the movie that the planet (or parts of it under domes, maybe) had been terraformed a long time beforehand— they referred to old, now-failed communities that were scattered around.
Their little settlement was under a big dome that I guess had kept it more livable for them.
Agreed, they all made dumb choices but most movies wd be short and boring w/out bad decisions.
