I think if the guy from All state insurance is in this movie, then she and the girl should be in good hands

I’m about to watch, but based on having read the book, that description seems about right XD

It seems like the only time I write reviews is when I’m pleasantly surprised by a movie that is supposed to suck. Don’t get me wrong, this movie wasn’t awesome. It was however highly entertaining. A perfect one-night-stand of a movie: super fun but very forgettable. Warning, this review is all over the place as I’ve had way too much caffeine.

You need to be willing to overlook a few really big flaws, such as a “road-closing” blizzard that’s barely more than a flurry, and just have fun with it. They got a few things right that a lot of other films get wrong, like how to properly crucify someone and (an admittedly broad sweep of) how drug addiction works. Which is unusual for dumbed-down movies such as these two-bite horror films.

This film could have been a lot worse, and the actors themselves knocked it out of the park. However it could have also been way better, nearly ruined by a couple stupid tropes and super cheesy dialogue.

I didn’t mind that you figured out who the killer was right away (you’re supposed to in this case for character development) as others did. The plot played out without totally humiliating itself, as good suspense films often do with a cringeworthy ending nowadays. Not to say it wasn’t a predictable ending; it was. However the journey was different enough to keep you entertained.

There was a bit liminal-space-creepiness that should have been explored more. With the amazing indie talent they had to work with, it would have been an outstanding move if the director would have let them improvise their dialogue.

That being said, I’m glad I watch it. I almost didn’t.

I enjoyed this. Thought it was pretty good. A little predictable at times, but entertaining nonetheless. Worth a one time watch.

can u start cars that way

CleoHarper 1 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Older cars you can. I somehow doubt it works in the post-digital age. Darby (character) stole a 90s Camaro (I think - every scene with that car is so damn dark). I had a girlfriend growing up in the nineties who lost her car keys and drove around with a screwdriver jammed into the ignition for over 2 years…until it was stolen. She couldn’t lock it!! I don’t know how she managed the screwdriver, if SHE jammed it in there or someone did it for her, or even how it works, but I did see it with my own eyes. Old cars were awesome tanks but they were also as hard to open as a tuna can, and soooo easy to steal…but not by me. I don’t drive, :-D

was wondering how that could be ? i might go on the tube and check out any truth to it ! lol

Yeah get back to me if you figure it out. I’m curious how it works too.
