wow reading some unkind words here about clint! i on the other hand enjoyed it! yes clint is starting to look 75 but thats not bad for a 91 year old! it’s a gentler the mule type movie not a hang em high type, leaves ya feeling wistful 9/10
I watched this on HBO and i am thinking i watched a completely different movie from the comments here. This movie was boring and at times made no sense with the dialogue and editing. Im not saying Clint is terrible, but this movie sure isn’t on par with some of these posts…4/10

That was way subpar (in most every way) for Mr. Eastwood. I hope this ain’t gonna be a trend for him—or be his farewell flick. But then again, he was looking pretty frail so who knows? I wish he could go on forever too but…
I’m actually in shock right now, I’m 20 minutes in and I’m finding the acting very subpar. Way below any of the main actors capabilities. Is it because they have aged quite a bit since the worked steady? Or is that the reason, perhaps they are rusty. I hate to say it due to the fact that I’m a huge Eastwood fan and I’ve always liked Yoakum’s characters in the past and I don’t know where the blame lies but I’m being generous by giving it a 3/5. Wow what a disappointment

This one is not going to win an awards; basic script, basic characters and some amateur actors, but it’s Clint Eastwood at 91 years young and most likely his last movie, so take it for what it is worth: An acting legend at the end of his career saying Goodbye the only way he knows how. This is where the cowboy rides away. (BTW, I think that’s the same 1978 suburban that was used in the movie Crazy Heart with Jeff Bridges).

That was disappointing. Bad acting, unlikely situations and awkward dialogue. As much as I love Clint, it might be time for him to hang up his spurs.

It was good, but lacked that Eastwood flare like his others. The kid and him were ok for the first half and got better on the second half. Still not a great Eastwood movie but I had no problem finishing it. 6.5/10
wow, Clint Eastwood was good with the romance and acting in this movie. He can still ride the horses too. I enjoyed it - it was cute and will be watching this one again.

Loved it ! As a very big Clint Eastwood fan I must say it was a great performance from the old man. It has heart, action and drama. The ending made me think he just gotta do one last Western where he stars and directs. Would be such a perfect ending to his movie career. Would love to see him write something original and as his kids have said to the press that all he wants to do is work so it is something that could be done. But about this movie, he reminds me of my grandpa who made it closer to 100 years old and until that day he was just as full of energy as Clint Eastwood. And I was surprised at times of the energy he had and overall a great movie that made me reflect on life and it was just good. Don’t listen to the haters.
I just wonder why or if these professional actors are ever going to say ok I have more money than god and I have been on screen all my long antique life its about time to move over and enjoy the riches and let some other generation get some of the cake,can they act ?of course,but we are getting as wrinkled as they are and the movies they have to put out can only consist of sitting on the park bench,,lol
