Feisty, spoiled Leila lives in the lap of luxury, in a beautiful mansion in a wealthy part of Casablanca. Her husband was a rich man and politician in a remote village. After his death, she is forced to go out to the village to collect his remains and bring them back to the city for the funeral, which must be quick according to religious tradition. To do this, she is helped by her driver, Boukal, whose dream is to join the police. During their “road trip” to the countryside with a few members of Boukal’s family, they run into trouble, and many hilarious situations arise as Leila, Boukal, Aicha “a singer” and Hassan “a violinist with a nervous tick” get sidetracked from what was supposed to be a very fast round-trip drive.
