Based on real and extraordinary events described in Laura Alcoba’s book, “Manèges, petite histoire Argentine”, the film is set in the year immediately preceding Argentina’s Dirty War. Eight-year-old Laura learns how to live a secret life, to use a fake name, and to hide the activists with whom she shares a home.
