James Dupree, a unique artist who began his career in 1971, and conquered all barriers within the art community between his race and his work. This documentary highlights his art, his friends, himself and his family through the decades. By 2011, his work and his studio in West Philadelphia is in jeopardy due to an ongoing battle of Eminent Domain declared by the city of Philadelphia and a hunger for land within Drexel University. |
