You’re welcome mate, glad you enjoyed it !

joshymet 2 points 3 years ago. 5/5 stars.

Indeed, Jim Broadbent has been doing amazing work going back to the early Only fools and Horses classics. Dame Helen is a national institution of Britishness…All in all, Teriffic!

Such a great UK film based on the true story of an early 1960s art heist that I’d never heard of to be honest. Everything about the film is a joy to watch with stellar acting, great storyline and incredible attention to detail with the vivid recreation of early sixties Britain.
It just goes to show that when the UK film industry doesn’t attempt to emulate the scripted by committee, painful, woke pandering of Hollywood film productions it is capable of making some very enjoyable offerings.

Typical dry British humor. It’s a very slow plot and doesn’t really get interesting until after the first hour. If you stay awake that long you’ll most likely find it quite enjoyable. 6/10

“I am you and you are me and we are all together.”

What a delightful movie! They couldn’t risk another spectacle. Ha! I love that part. However small, I feel Kenton’s hand was involved in free television for the over 75’s. It was all for the greater good.

The scenery was amazing. Superb casting.

Watch “The Duke” or “Stillwater”? Go with “The Duke”. It would be a crime to miss it.

Great flick, lady’s wanted a nice movie, what a treat, we love good biographies, this one is more than we needed on a tough Monday. Or anyday of the week, a must watch.
