thought for a sec that was aimed at me. i actually re-read my post to make sure i wasn’t being an ass. lol. nice to know i’m not the one with the mute warnings for once. g’day, YKJ.
Watched a few minutes of it; not much into superman; but the quality is perfect & definitely seemed worth the watch if you DID like superman
i didn’t mind it at all. showed the ideals superman actually supports, just changed the “way of thinking” from a communist standpoint compared to a democratic standpoint as is his norm. his ideas about freedom, truth, and justice were the same, but his way going about was different. was weird to lex as a good guy, though. nice twist at the end as well. the politics used behind it are getting normal in shows made during this tumultuous time, with the whole turkey/syria/russia/US debacle going on today. was still a good movie that showed wonder woman as a true thinking amazon, the OG green lantern with his own lantern corps, lois lane still a reporter (though having THAT hyphenated name was strange), and braniac duping supes. all in all….4/5

Pay no heed to the hyperbole, if you liked the previous DC animated movies then you should enjoy this. Set as part of the “elseworld” series, there is more action and story to the books, but for a sub 90 minute adaptation this is pretty decent. There is both language and gore so not for youngsters. It’s commie Superman - who doesn’t want to see that?
