Schlamp, a pharmacist, is terribly worried. He has just been guilty of grave professional misconduct : he has indeed sold a woman a potion made of morphine hydrochloride instead of the one ordered supposed to contain bismuth and orange blossom. The twenty gram dose is likely to kill the the client’s little boy! To make matters worse, he has forgotten to record her address and the practitioner’s name is Durand (an awfully common name in France)… How will he get out of the situation? |
