When you’re eight years old and your teacher asks what you want to be when you grow up the typical response is a doctor, lawyer or maybe even Superman; that is unless you’re Ethan Terri, son of the most notorious gangster on the east coast, Rodger Terri. Ethan aspires to not only be just like his father but his other idol, Al Capone. That is until his father’s tragic death. After the death of his father, Ethan vows to take care of his family and provide for them by being “a working class” citizen until things start to get a tad bit rough: bills are past due, his grandmother is ill and to add the icing to the cake, he’s now responsible for caring for his little sister, Bianca. Now all he can think about is the gangster documentaries he watches every night before bed. He has to do something to provide for is family! He can continue to work his shitty job at the corner store for his pompous boss, Habib, hoping that things get better or he can take a risk and attempt to team up with the notorious dealer that everyone loves to hate, Monster. This is more than your typical gangster movie. This will take you on an emotional roller coaster: love, drama, action and a thriller. Does Ethan come out on top or does he become a product of his environment? |
