Yes, there’s a reason why tourists are constantly flooding the streets of Spoole, camera in hand and smile on face - and it’s not for our almost-OLYMPIC-SIZE public swimming pool or the FREE Wi-Fi available at and around our Rec Centre (password IHeartDale)! No, it’s Dale - the only known zombie in South Australia, quite possibly the world! Considered a friend to all, young and old, Dale can always be spotted around Spoole, walking that undead walk of his, groaning that adorable, zombie groan and generally brightening people’s lives. It’s Dale, more than anything, that has led some people to say things like “Spoole is pretty cool!” And it is Dale that has inspired us to make this short documentary film - we hope you’ll come and share in his story with us.
