Jon wakes up with a strange painting next to him. On the news, he discovers that this very painting was stolen from a local art gallery. He realizes that his old problem of stealing things in his sleep has come back to haunt him. Jon calls up his friend Eddie, who has helped him out of these situations before, but Eddie won’t hear it. Jenny, Jon’s girlfriend, shows up to grab something she left behind, and she can tell from Jon’s attitude that he’s up to something and hopes it’s not what she thinks it is. Jon decides to wrap the painting like a gift and try to throw it away somewhere, but is stopped by his nosy neighbor, Nancy. She knows his girlfriend is gone and tries to seduce Jon. Disgusted, he hides back in his room. Frustrated, Jon almost gets to the point of destroying the painting in his kitchen before coming to his senses. He knows that he steals these things in his sleep, so maybe he would be able to rid himself of it in his sleep. He lays down with it and hopes for the best. |
