The film created between 1977 and 1985 is in fact a compilation of cuttings from dozens of recorded public concerts, informal interviews and glimpses into the personal life of the greatest Czech post-war pop-music star - Karel Gott - who has won the national award of “Zlatý slavík” (Golden Nightingale) 20 times.
