So remember how you felt after watching the movie “Contact” and the alien turns out to be the lady’s father (or at least to look like him, cause %$@ special fx)? That’s how you’ll feel at the end of this one, too.
It had potential but resolved the alien-human conflict about 2/3rds of the way through, then had nothing to go on but a very long reveal about how the lead “scientist” was secretly an “alien sympathizer”. Scientifically, it’s about as silly as Independence Day. And I’m pretty sure a Quaker wrote the military parts, because even a 12-year old who plays military strategy/tactical video games could probably have done a better job as a tactician/strategist. :P
This is like a low budget drawn out “Arrival” type movie, in the sense that it is some sort of alien contact done in a high concept, artsy way, but this falls quite short. It has some good moments but many parts are way to drawn out. This would have worked great as a short film.
MMMMMMM nope
Dark, and drab scenery. Very slow moving story. Actors look like they are concentration camp survivors. In order to make the story work, the characters have to make stupid mistakes and do so. Predictable and boring.
