Invitation is a half-documentary, half-fiction drama that is melancholic & observational in nature. It tells the story of a woman looking for an invite into the red carpet events & galas of Cannes Film Festival ‘15 in the midst of hundreds of other people who are waiting with signs outside the Palais for the same reason. Will she get what she is looking for or is she doing this out of some other deep-seated need rooting from her past? |
