After their father’s death and four years of silence between them, two half-sisters, Lurleen Blanton and Haylee Partee, are forced to reunited and face the demons left buried in their hometown of Hokes Bluff, Alabama. Lurleen confronts her childhood best friend and half-sister, Haylee, an up and coming country music sensations on the eve of their father’s funeral. Haylee left Lurleen behind in order to pursue a solo career in Nashville. Since then, Lurleen has mad a living doing hair in the kitchen of her trailer which sits in the middle of a cow pasture. |
