When a young man and woman meet at a small, local laundromat, they seem to catch each others’ attention. At first, neither notices that the attraction is mutual. While the two strangers sit uncomfortably close in the only two chairs available and wait for their laundry cycles, both of their cell phones ring. Sitting within earshot of one another, they quickly learn that they are in fact from very different parts of the world. She gathers that this Russian man is dealing with some sort of crisis on his phone, as he learns that this Haitian woman is experiencing something similar. They are both dealing with tense conversations of their own and suddenly seem to be going through the same thing.
