For the past twenty years, Red Bull’s annual Flugtag has given participants the opportunity to create and test homemade, human powered, flying machines. Beasts of Amis is about a group of friends and co-workers, from Amis Trattoria in PHiladelphia, who band together to try and make Flugtag history. Beasts of Amis follows the team as they work to make their dreams a reality; from the planning stage all the way to launch day. This pithy short film gives viewer’s an inside look at the preparation, frustrations, complications, and anticipation leading up to the competition on the Camden Waterfront.
