Set on a surreal world at the edge of the universe, The Chairs is an experimental film that incorporates theater, cinema, and media art. When an old woman gets fed up with her old, rickety chair, an eccentric stranger emerges, offering to trade her one of his many fine chairs and relieve her from this grief. But as more and more chairs are presented, mayhem quickly escalates, and the old woman soon finds herself caught up in the stranger’s insanity, ultimately facing a horrific mountain of chairs and choices. |
