The Conjurer is the tale of a mysterious Holocaust survivor named John residing at a sanatorium in Bristol, England following the Second World War who possesses paranormal abilities. Following ghostly sightings at the hospital, it is revealed that John is able to conjure ghosts of his past using thought. Famed psychiatrist Dr. Carl Jung is called upon to assist in the case in the hopes of discovering the root of Johns phenomenal powers. During the course of their sessions, John reveals the harrowing experiences he endured while imprisoned in the concentration camps and the secret of his strength, namely his ability to discover hope within the wake of human cruelty. |
