Details:

Dr. Mitchell Young is a Behavioral Medicine and Addictive Disorders licensed psychotherapist who has counseled Vietnam veterans for over fifteen years. More importantly, he is a Vietnam combat veteran. Following his years in the Marine Corps, he battled (and continues to battle) the same emotional scars he is trained to detect and treat. When he returned home from Vietnam in 1968, he fell deeply into a dangerous drug culture in California. Seventeen years of his life was wasted-four of which he lived homeless. It wasn’t until he began intensive treatment at the Veterans Outreach Center in Seattle, Washington that he began his recovery. Dr. Mitchell Young’s dynamic interview is a must see for all those dealing with the lasting effects suffered by many combat veterans.
