Doris is retired and now lives alone after the death of her husband, Frank. Doris now seems to spend most of her time alone, but manages to pass the day away by watching television, reading a good book and carrying about her daily routine. Today will be different though as her beloved son, Ray, is coming to visit. Whenever he manages to visit it is always the highlight of her week and she dotes on him, proud of her son. Though physically she may struggle, the joy she feels at seeing family always manages to push her onward and in the self entitled film we see one day in the life of Doris. |
