In 2010, Barbara Williams comes home to find her daughter Chermaine entertaining two charming strangers in her home. The two men, Derrick Cole Smith and Michael Walker, charm their way into Barbara’s home and for several days the two women are at the mercy of these two cold-blooded killers. While keeping Barbara and Chermaine hostage, Derrick and Michael commit a series of home-invasion murders, killing twelve people in a brutal killing spree. Barbara and Chermaine become unwillingly implicated by the police and the media in the heinous crimes. Ironically, Barbara and Chermaine are in danger of becoming the next family to die. In this true-life story, mother and daughter struggle to survive while living with two serial killers. |
